    Camp Wild pk彩票

Mr. & Mrs. Heetderks are thrilled to invite all incoming Kindergarten through outgoing 5th grade students (entering 6th grade in the Fall) to get wild and crazy about nature and wildlife! For the first time, campers will be able to take advantage of the new WCS Nature Center to observe and investigate the animals, plants, and trees right outside our classroom!

In Art, we will create a birdfeeder of your own design, a miniature garden house for small creatures, “tie dye” polymer eggs in a real nest, and an outdoor painting on your own canvas. In addition, plan on cutting and sewing a pillow, glazing a ceramic mug for the kiln, and making candles using the wax of bees!

We will do some old fashioned outdoor stuff like making solar-heated s’mores, yodeling camp calls, and building tents and forts (feel free to bring a sleeping bag).

As usual, you will do some pretty weird and wild stuff with Mr. Heetderks (did I mention he is wants you to look through owl throw-up to find the bones and skulls of their prey?!?!). He also mentioned counting the “age” rings of your own tree trunk slice, and dissecting some real frogs to check out what’s inside!

We will sing, play, and end the week with a dance around the “bonfire” that will surely inspire you to explore the outdoors this summer!

The weekly fee is $375 and includes a daily hot lunch, art materials, kiln firing fees, snacks, and all the fun you can find in the wild outdoors!

If you have any further questions, please contact Anne Heetderks via email at aheetderks@.
